This fall, Emmaus Worldwide invites you to be part of something special—our first-ever Workshop & Conference, bringing together believers from around the world for a time of encouragement, fellowship, and spiritual renewal.
Whether you serve in Emmaus ministry, support the work, or simply have a heart for seeing God's Word change lives, this gathering is for you.
The Weekend Conference (October 2–4) is a celebration of what the Lord is doing through Emmaus around the world. Hear firsthand stories from ordinary believers serving Christ in their own communities across more than 30 countries. Discover how God is using Emmaus Bible courses to disciple believers, strengthen local churches, and reach people with the gospel. Through biblical teaching, worship, breakout sessions, and meaningful fellowship, you'll be encouraged, challenged, and inspired by God's work across the globe.
Our theme, Walking the Road Together with Christ, is drawn from Luke 24. On the road to Emmaus, the risen Lord walked alongside two discouraged disciples, opened the Scriptures to them, revealed Himself, and sent them back with renewed hope and purpose.
As we gather, we'll walk that road together—opening God's Word, encouraging one another, and considering how we can faithfully disciple others so that the truth entrusted to us continues to multiply from generation to generation (2 Timothy 2:2).
For those attending the full week, the Workshop (September 30 - October 5) offers additional opportunities for practical training, collaborative discussion, and ministry-focused sessions designed to equip those involved in Bible correspondence and discipleship ministries.
We hope you'll join us as we celebrate God's faithfulness, build lasting friendships with believers from around the world, and leave renewed in your walk with Christ.

Scott DeGroff
Scott has served as a full-time itinerant preacher across North America since 2005. In 2016, Scott and his wife, Lynn, felt a strong burden from the Lord to broaden their ministry toward cross-cultural outreach—focusing on planting new works and reaching the unreached across the continent.
Scott and Lynn now partner with Freedom Teams, a nonprofit organization with a three-fold vision: to reach North America for Christ in this generation, to establish fresh, self-replicating works, and to extend that mission beyond the continent. Learn more at freedomteams.org. -

Sam K. John
Sam was raised in a missionary family
and has served in full-time Christian
ministry since 2000. Based in
Bangalore, he serves as a commended
evangelist and itinerant Bible teacher,
and is Director of the Emmaus
Academy of Biblical Studies as well as
a Board Member of Emmaus India. He
has a particular burden for
discipleship and training cross-
cultural mission workers.Sam and his wife, Jiji, have two
children. -

Dr. Steve Price
Dr. Price has practiced emergency
medicine since 1991 and serves as the
Director of Assembly Care Ministries. An
elder at the Bible Chapel of Shawnee
(Kansas, USA), Steve is also Vice Chairman of the Emmaus Worldwide Board of Directors and serves on several other ministry boards. He frequently ministers at conferences and participates in medical mission trips in North America and overseas.Steve and his wife, Janet, have been
married for over 35 years and are blessed
with nine children and five grandchildren. -

Nestled on 270 scenic acres between historic downtown Waxahachie and Maypearl, the beautiful Lakeview Camp & Retreat Center provides the perfect setting for a weekend of fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual refreshment.
Conveniently located just one hour south of Dallas–Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).
All accommodations are hotel-style and offer 2 queen beds
and a private bathroom with all linens and bedding provided.
Meals and refreshments are also included.

Emmaus Worldwide loves children and parents. Our desire is for parents to keep their children with them during sessions and hear together as a family all that God is doing around the world. For the very youngest, childcare will be provided.
