The Emmaus Worldwide Conference is a celebration of God’s faithfulness and a unique opportunity to gather with believers from around the world who share a passion for God’s Word and discipleship.
Whether you’ve been involved with Emmaus for decades or are simply interested in hearing how the Lord is transforming lives through Scripture, this conference is for you.
You’ll enjoy inspiring biblical teaching, meaningful worship, practical breakout sessions, and encouraging fellowship while hearing firsthand how God is using His Word to strengthen believers, equip local churches, and reach people with the gospel in more than 30 countries.
Our prayer is that you’ll leave refreshed in your faith, encouraged by what the Lord is doing around the world, and inspired to serve Him more faithfully where He has placed you.

Walking the Road—Together With Christ
Our theme is drawn from Luke 24, where the risen Christ joins two discouraged disciples on the road to Emmaus. He walks beside them, opens the Scriptures, reveals Himself, and sends them back with renewed joy and purpose.
That journey provides a beautiful picture of biblical discipleship. Christ still walks with His people today, transforming hearts through His Word and sending His followers to make disciples of others.
Throughout the conference, we’ll explore what it means to walk alongside others in discipleship as Christ walks with us—drawing near in relationship, opening the Scriptures faithfully, speaking the truth in love, and entrusting the faith to the next generation (2 Timothy 2:2).

For those attending the full week, the Emmaus Worldwide Workshop (September 30–October 5) provides additional opportunities to receive practical training, collaborate with others serving around the world, and discuss ways to strengthen Bible correspondence and discipleship ministries.

Believers and ministry workers from more than 30 countries will gather to worship together, study God’s Word, share what the Lord is doing through Scripture around the world, and enjoy meaningful fellowship. While the gathering is international in scope, it isn’t just for international workers—it is for anyone who desires to be encouraged, challenged, and refreshed through biblical teaching, fellowship, and encouraging stories of God’s victories from all over the world!
This is a unique opportunity to meet brothers and sisters from many nations, hear firsthand stories of lives transformed through God’s Word, and celebrate together what Christ is accomplishing through His Church.

Sam K. John
Sam was raised in a missionary family
and has served in full-time Christian
ministry since 2000. Based in
Bangalore, he serves as a commended
evangelist and itinerant Bible teacher,
and is Director of the Emmaus
Academy of Biblical Studies as well as
a Board Member of Emmaus India. He
has a particular burden for
discipleship and training cross-
cultural mission workers.Sam and his wife, Jiji, have two

Dr. Steve Price
Dr. Price has practiced emergency
medicine since 1991 and serves as the
Director of Assembly Care Ministries. An
elder at the Bible Chapel of Shawnee
(Kansas, USA), Steve also serves as Vice Chairman of the Emmaus Worldwide Board of Directors and serves on several other ministry boards. He frequently ministers at conferences and participates in medical mission trips in North America and overseas.Steve and his wife, Janet, have been
married for over 35 years and are blessed

Scott DeGroff
Scott has served as a full-time itinerant preacher across North America since 2005. In 2016, Scott and his wife, Lynn, felt a strong burden from the Lord to broaden their ministry toward cross-cultural outreach—focusing on planting new works and reaching the unreached across the continent.
Scott and Lynn now partner with Freedom Teams, a nonprofit organization with a three-fold vision: to reach North America for Christ in this generation, to establish fresh, self-replicating works, and to extend that mission beyond the continent. Nestled on 270 scenic acres between historic downtown Waxahachie and Maypearl, the beautiful Lakeview Camp & Retreat Center provides the perfect setting for a weekend of fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual refreshment.
